Mixed Martial Arts Camp for Kids!!

They will be introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling & Muay Thai geared towards Self Defense and competitive sports.

July 19th - 23rd

Aug 2nd - 6th

We would like to congratulate Chip Coffey on his recent accomplishments at the Pan Championship in California, April 10th.  Chip placed 3rd in the Brown Belt division.  Awesome job Chip!!

Congratulations to Assistant Instructor Julian Synan on earning his Purple Belt.  A GREAT accomplishment!  We are all very proud of you.

Professor Shealy and Chip Coffey will be giving the no-gi/MMA class on friday 6:00 p.m. 3/12.  Everyone bring protective gear, you will not be allowed to spar without it. There will be no kid-jitsu in friday 3/12. Thanks, I will see you ALL there.

Seven competitors, seven medals!!!  GREAT job everyone!  And a special thanks to all who helped their team mates train for this competition.

AWESOME job @ the pro trials everyone!! There were some hard fought matches,and some straight up tough losses.  Im proud of everyone who competed. Congrats to Chad , Josh, and Shegog from jax bjj on their wins, also to Chip for his win. We know victory and defeat,there is no arrogance or self pity, only the courage to be warriors.

A special thanks to Chip Coffey and the guys from Jax Bjj for coming out to FCF. It was a great seminar, we hope to have Chip back soon. We have photos for the website coming soon or you can check them out now on our fighting chance fitness facebook.

Mini Mat-rats class has begun.  This is a great opportunity for the little ones to experience some time on the mats, and get rid of some of that energy!!  Check out a few photos from our first class in our Picture Gallery, or under the Kids Class tab.

Our new 2010 schedule is up.  We have added some classes, and moved others.  Please check out our new schedule here.

We have added a new class on Tuesday & Thursday mornings called MINI MAT-RATS.  This class will be an introduction to the mats for kids ages 2-4yrs old. A parent or gaurdian MUST be present on the mats with child.  The kids will practice tumbling, running, and jumping.

We are starting an official competition team for all members.  Any member interested in joining the team and competing as a team may sign up. 

Competitors will be expected to meet the following requirements:

- must participate in a minimum of 2 Team practices per week

- must have at least 6 months of training prior to sign up

- Gi's MUST have all Team patches prior to competitions

**All Team members 18yrs of age and over may qualify for sponsorship**
