Kevin Synan - Head Instructor

Kevin is a Gracie Barra Purple Belt under Professor Larry Shealy.

Kevin has trained BJJ with World Champions, Flavio Almeida and Fernando Margarida Pontes.  He has also trained with eight time Brazilian state champion, Royce Gracie Black belt, Charles dos Anjos.

Kevin's MMA training includes his main instructor Professor Larry Shealy.  He has also trained with Matt Hughes & Robbie Lawler at HitSquad in IL.  He has been fortunate to also train with Brandon Vera and Chip Coffey.

Christy Synan - Assistant Instructor

Christy is a Gracie Barra 2 stripe Blue Belt under Professor Larry Shealy.

Julian Synan - Assistant Instructor

Julian is a Gracie Barra Purple Belt under Professor Larry Shealy.

Chip Coffey - No-Gi/MMA Instructor

Chip Coffey has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 8 years and is a Brown Belt under 2x Word Champion, Abu Dhabi Absolute Champion and UFC Veteran, Roberto “Spider” Traven.  Chip has competed in the Mundials, The ProAms, NAGA, Casca Grossa, and MMA events. Chip has also trained extensively in Judo, Wrestling, Boxing and Muay Thai.

Michael Brinkley - Coach

Mike is a 2 stripe Blue Belt under Kevin Synan.

Mike is also a certified Modern Army Combatives Instructor for the US Army.

David Bell - Wrestling Coach

David is an accomplished wrestler and the Division 1A, 2010 State Champion, 189lb weight division.  He will be instructing our Wrestling Class on Wednesday nights as part of the MMA Class.
